The Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies initiated the "Engineer 5.0" international virtual academic mobility program aimed at PhD degree holders in educational programs 132 Materials Science, 133 Industrial Engineering, 161 Chemical Technologies and Engineering. The program is implemented within the framework of international cooperation with the Poznań University of Technology (Poland), Košice Technical University (Slovak Republic), Łódź University of Technology (Poland), and Yildiz Technical University (Turkey).

According to the program's coordinator, the deputy dean for international cooperation of the faculty, Prof. Vitalii Ivanov, this program is a unique opportunity for Ph.D. students to deepen their knowledge and acquire new competencies. The program includes lectures, workshops, and discussions within the educational components "Modern Trends in Engineering Education", "Indispensable Components of Becoming a Researcher", "Approaches and Methods to the Implementation of Research Tasks", and "Trends in Engineering" totaling 2 ECTS credits. Fifteen lecturers from four countries of the world are involved in teaching. In addition to the head of the Department of Manufacturing Engineering, Machines and Tools, Prof. Vitalii Ivanov, Assoc. Prof. Oleksandr Ivchenko and Sen. Lec. Yuliia Denysenko are involved in the program.
