On December 20, 2022, as part of the ERASMUS-JMO-2021-HEI-TCH-RSCH EUGreeCon project of the EU Erasmus+ programme according to Grant agreement No. 101047527, a workshop was held on the topic: "The new challenges and opportunities for the EU consumers empowerment brought about by the green and digital transitions".

Organizers:

  • Representatives of Sumy State University (Sumy) Prof. Kostiantyn Dyadyura (Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies, Sumy State University) and Assoc. Prof. Liudmila Hrebenyk (Medical Institute of Sumy State University);
  • Chervonograd District Council of Lviv Region.

Workshop held for representatives of state authorities, State Service of Ukraine on food safety and consumer protection, commercial Chamber of Industry of Ukraine, public organizations, consumer organizations, subjects management, and average consumers.

Participants were representatives of:

  • Sokal United Territorial Community;
  • Belsky United Territorial Community;
  • Velikomostivka United Territorial Community;
  • Chervonograd United Territorial Community;
  • Lopatyna United Territorial Community;
  • Dobrotvir United Territorial Community;
  • Radekhiv United Territorial Community.

As part of the event, such a topic as business and consumer rights in the territorial communities of Ukraine during the war and post-war recovery. In particular, there were reports on the following topics:

  • Grant support programs for businesses in Ukraine;
  • Relocation of business to the West of Ukraine;
  • Tax practice during martial law;
  • Business financing during the war;
  • Peculiarities of conducting business inspections;
  • Peculiarities of procurement;
  • The process of Ukraine's integration into the European Union in the near future;
  • The work of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine to support business in wartime conditions state;
  • Creation of project management centres of territorial communities;
  • Prospects of post-war green reconstruction of Ukraine;
  • Adaptation of the national system of consumer rights protection in accordance with the legislation of the European Union.
