On April 1, after a forced vacation, the educational process was resumed at Sumy State University in the spring semester of the 2021/2022 academic year.

Training is conducted in a remote (synchronous and, or asynchronous) format, taking into account the technical capabilities of all participants using the available communication channels: videoconferencing, personal account, e-mail, forums, social networks.

Students in the Territorial Defense Forces can study on an individual schedule or take academic leave. Academic leave is also granted to applicants in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In cases where students wish to study at higher educational institutions at their current place of residence (in Ukraine or abroad), the university contributes to the plan of academic mobility (internal or international).

It is planned to revise the requirements for writing term papers (projects), practice reports, and qualification papers, taking into account the technical capabilities of students. First of all, graduate departments and structural subdivisions of SSU are considered bases for internships for graduate students.

Sumy State University supports the initiative of the President of Ukraine to hold a daily minute of silence. Every day, including during educational events, at 9:00 am, employees and students of SSU honor the memory of our compatriots who died as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
